runawaytrain: This cache has had a good run but it has also become very high-maintenance. Time to open the spot and leave the wildlife in peace. Thanks for visiting!

Geocache Description:

The American bison (Bison bison), also commonly known as the American buffalo, once roamed the grasslands and Great Plains of North America in massive herds.  Hunted almost to extinction, bison numbers have rebounded, and today about 500,000 bison live on preserves and ranches. Bison stand some 5 to 6.5 feet (1.5 to 2 meters) tall at the shoulder, and can tip the scales at over a ton (907 kilograms). Despite their massive size, bison are quick on their feet and can run at speeds up to 30 miles (55 kilometers) an hour. They sport curved, sharp horns that may grow to be two feet (61 centimeters) long. (National Geographic)

There are no bison at the wildlife preserve across the road - the cache name refers to the street and type of container you are looking for. This hide is near the city sidewalk, but there is no on-street parking here so it is not a quick park and grab. Stealth may be necessary - BYOP - please rehide as found.  And remember, you can't rollerskate in a buffalo herd!
