What do two geocachers do when they decide to get married? Hold an event to help them and their friends celebrate the day! After all, the relationship started on a geocaching trip so geocaching should be part of the next step! The wedding will be followed by the receptiion and both of those events will be held at the same basic location which is on the grounds of the Dent County Baptist Camp. Here are the details of the day:
Wedding at 5:00 pm at the chapel which is located near the posted coordinates.
Reception immediately following at the nearby Dining Hall.
The Dent County Baptist Camp offers plenty of parking so that should not be a problem. Since the event will be held at a religious campground, we respectfully ask that all guests refrain from bringing any form of alcohol to the event. There will be a bingo-styled geocaching game at the reception plus cake and punch. Feel free to trade geocoins, travel bugs, caching stories, and other items of geocaching interest at the event, and of course, you may want to share your best memory and/or geocaching story about the bride and groom at the event. This will be a family-friendly event with a playground at the campground for all the little ones to enjoy.
NOTE: This event provides an excellent chance of finding the "proposal" cache if you have not already found that cache. Here is a link to that cache: A Very Important Question
Hope to see you there!
