Find a perfect little park and beach with sandy shore, in the Westmere region. This will involve walking along the shore. Mid to low tide.
This may require wading or clambering. Depending on tides. Entry from the park driveway to the beach. Its at a secret little inner city beach with a delightful outlook and safe for kids. Incoming tide is best. The cache is hidden in a pohutukawa tree. It's about eye height. Not hard but not immediately apparent either.
