Abbazia Chiaravalle della Colomba
La fondazione dell’Abbazia di Chiaravalle della Colomba, che sorge nella pianura piacentina, è merito della straordinaria attività di San Bernardo. La denominazione “della Colomba” è da attribuire ad una leggenda che narra come il perimetro del monastero sia stato indicato ai monaci da una colomba bianca con delle pagliuzze, ma forse più semplicemente è riferito al mistero dell’Annunciazione armonizzandosi così con la spiritualità mariana cistercense. La chiesa è dedicata a Santa Maria Assunta.
Uno dei motivi per cui l'Abbazia è famosa in tutta Italia (e non solo..) è la celebre "Infiorata del Corpus Domini", periodo maggio-giugno, quando viene allestito un meraviglioso tappeto fiorito lungo la navata centrale della basilica. E' probabilmente quello il periodo migliore in cui visitare questo stupendo luogo di culto che unisce lo splendore architettonico dello stile Romanico-Gotico allo stile di vita spirituale e laborioso dei monaci che lo popolano.
Lo straordinario gioiello di Chiaravalle della Colomba è il chiostro trecentesco. Ci si offre ancor oggi nell’intensa suggestione della propria strutturata bellezza: esso è l’unico conservatosi intatto in situazione extra-urbana sull’intero territorio emiliano-romagnolo. Vi sono profuse tutte le sapienze architettoniche, decorative e mistico-simboliche della mentalità fideista medioevale.
L'Abbazia è aperta ai visitatori al mattino dalle ore 8:30 alle 12 ed il pomeriggio dalle 14:30 alle 18:30.
L'Abbazia è inserita nei due Itinerari Culturali del Consiglio d'Europa: "Via Francigena" e "Route Européenne des Abbayes Cicterciennes".
Abbey of Clairvaux of the Dove
The foundation of the Abbey of Clairvaux of the Dove, which is located in the plains of Piacenza, is about the extraordinary activity of San Bernardo. The name "the Dove" is due to a legend that tells how the perimeter of the monastery has been shown to the monks by a white dove with straws, but perhaps more simply refers to the mystery of the Annunciation harmonizing well with Marian spirituality Cistercian . We are offered today in the intense fascination of its structured beauty: it is the only preserved intact in extra-urban situation on the entire territory of Emilia-Romagna. There are profuse all wisdoms architectural, decorative and mystic-symbolic fideist medieval mentality.
The abbey is open to visitors in the morning from 8:30 to 12 and in the afternoon from 14:30 to 18:30.
The Abbey is inserted in the two Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: "Via Francigena" and "Route Européenne des Abbayes Cicterciennes".
Abtei von Clairvaux der Taube
Die Gründung der Abtei von Clairvaux der Taube, die in den Ebenen von Piacenza befindet, ist über die außergewöhnliche Aktivität von San Bernardo. Der Name "die Taube" ist auf eine Legende, dass, wie der Umfang des Klosters hat den Mönchen durch eine weiße Taube mit Strohhalmen gezeigt worden, aber vielleicht bezieht sich einfacher auf das Geheimnis der Verkündigung harmonisieren gut mit marianische Spiritualität der Zisterzienser erzählt . Die Kirche ist Santa Maria Assunta gewidmet.
Einer der Gründe, warum die Abtei ist in ganz Italien berühmt (und nicht nur ..) ist die berühmte "Blumenfest des Corpus Domini", Mai und Juni, wenn es eine wunderbare Blumenteppich durch den Mittelgang der Basilika gesetzt. Es ist wahrscheinlich die beste Zeit, um diesen schönen Ort der Anbetung, die die architektonische Pracht der romanisch-gotischen Stil des geistlichen Lebens und fleißige Mönche, die sie bewohnen kombiniert zu besuchen.
Das außergewöhnliche Schmuckstück von Clairvaux der Taube ist der Kreuzgang. Qualitative Höhepunkt des ersten Zyklus der Arbeit, sind wir heute in der intensiven Faszination seiner strukturierten Schönheit angeboten werden: es ist das einzige in außerstädtischen Lage auf dem gesamten Gebiet der Emilia-Romagna, unverändert erhalten. Es gibt reichlich alle Weisheiten architektonische, dekorative und mystisch-symbolischen Fideist mittelalterlichen Mentalität.
Das Kloster ist für Besucher geöffnet am Morgen von 8.30 bis 12 und am Nachmittag von 14.30 bis 18.30 Uhr
