" When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore. " I have always been fascinated by a full moon. So ... in honor of the grand 'ole Man in the Moon I have begun a series of caches that I will call The Many Moons. A new Full Moon cache will be hidden each month near the time of a full moon. Each cache will bear the Native American name of the full moon for the month that the cache is hidden.
The 10th hide of the Many Moons series is April ... The Sprouting Grass Moon. This full moon heralded the appearance of greening grass. The hillsides begin to cast off the brown colors of the cold season and the green of spring covers the surrounding countryside. You're looking for The Man in the Moon ... a small cache with room for a log only. There's ample parking nearby. Bring a scribble stick.
