Jamestown Road was used as a set location for a number of scenes in Love/Hate.

**********************SPOILER ALERT LOVE/HATE PLOT********************
Season 3 Episode 6
If you haven't watched Love/Hate, then we would suggest you look away now........
Previously on Love/Hate:
We saw the will they/won't they tension develop between Lizzie and Darren, following their unusual "first date" (aka killing spree) and despite their retrospective gangs being at odds a friendship was blossoming. Who could blame Lizzie with those smoldering eyes and the way he might look at ya.

Earlier we saw Darren take on Dano and the RIRA when they kidnapped Nidge and put him in the boot. During the rescuing Darren shot the driver, and he looked devastated when he realised he had killed Lizzie's remaining brother.
Nidge conveniently forgot all about this demonstration of loyalty and folded when questioned by the RIRA man Martin, telling him that Darren was the one who threw the pipe bomb and killed Git, so his cards were doubly marked. We saw Nidge falling to the floor with a mixture of guilt grief and sadness for what he was about to do to his friend.
Unbelievably the hitman Nidge sent missed from close range but managed to wound Darren in the arm. Nidge was at his computer when a call came on his mobile. He couldn't quite believe it when Darren was on the other end of the line. His expression changed from one of disbelief and puzzlement and quickly changed to "happy" Nidge mode. I thought the acting in this scene was brilliant.

Darren is shot again
We saw Darren spitting feathers down the phone at Nidge when walking through the flats on Johnstown Road. He was in mid conversation to Nidge when a shot rang out in the final episode of Series 3. Darren goes down and the face of the assassin is revealed. When the cameras focused on the figure the nation drew their breath and there were gasps of surprise. That Lizzie one!

The second scene shot here was in Series 4 Episode 4
Wayne was introduced to viewers in the first episode of Season 4 and his opening act was to 'kill' the infamous Love/Hate cat. He was the one being trained by assassin Lizzie and the one who helped Lizzie to break into Nidge’s house. It was no surprise that Wayne was then kidnapped by Nidge and threatened with torture.

But he wouldn't talk which impressed Nidge. He never got to finish his questioning as sirens could be heard. Wayne was rescued and Nidge's crew arrested. Nidge looked pretty menacing when he was handcuffed on the ground. But his menacing grin changed to a smile when he realised that Warren could keep his mouth shut.

Luckily for Nidge, Wayne denied that he had been kidnapped – him not being a rat and everything – and Nidge and his crew were all released. Nidge soon recruited Wayne to do some work for him (in the meantime Lizzie had her road rage incident) and he was the one who went with Nidge to get Patrick the pipe bomber. More to follow on that.....
