The summit area is the best of both worlds, with Santa Cruz on one side, San Jose on the other, and the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains all around. This cache is on the footpath that runs along Summit Road from Highway 17 to Soquel San Jose Road.
You're looking for a small container right along the path. Good parking is available about .1 mile away at Summit & DelMonte Way. If you have the time and energy, you can walk from here all the way to the store or local wineries and enjoy the mountain scenery.
