This cache is the first of the Where's Matilda Two in the area..
There is a 40 acre property in the vicinity that was originally a soldier resettlement block, granted originally to Sid Shaw who served in The Somme during the First World War. Sid wrote a book called Over The Fence about his time in France and his subsequent return to The Granite Belt. There are views of Mt Tully and Mt Stirling from GZ and is in the heart of The Granite Belt district. The cache is available 24/7 and is located on a quite country road.
