Geocache Description:

Sandspur island is just a short paddle from Oleta River State Park. This is an island in which the locals take their boats, kayaks, canoes or paddle boards out to a secluded primitive island. Made from the dug up sand from dredging of the Haulover inlet. Sandspur island is an awesome place to escape the city without leaving. Please remember that there are no facilities on the island, so plan accordingly. Bring a pen/pencil. Happy caching!!!
