I was out caching in this area and when I decided to take a break for a drink of water, I noticed the great view of one of our North Shore mountains. I thought about it for a minute and decided to place a cache here for a couple of reasons. I wanted to share the view with others and give even more incentive to come and take a hike that I really enjoyed.
The cache is located on a mountain bike and dirt bike located on Eagle Ridge north of the neighborhood around Noons Creek. Please be aware that bikes frequent this area; especially during the Spring and Summer months. Be very careful going around corners and make sure to yield to bike traffic. Also, the trails are unmarked; do not attempt to do this one by yourself if you do not know the area, as it is very easy to get lost. Last but not least, bring proper foot wear; the trails are very rough and a have steep grade in some areas.
The cache itself is a small green bison tube hidden at ground level. Be careful of the thorns close by; they can be very unfriendly to unprotected skin. ( I learned this the hard way today) Because of the frequent bike traffic, stealth is required even up here. Make sure there are no muggles watching when you hide or pick up the cache. The cache is a micro, so there is no room for tradeables or a pen; please bring your own.
