This weekend marks the International Cache In Trash Out's 13th year.
CITO or Cache In Trash Out is supported by the geocaching community.
For the last 12 years, geocachers around the world have been dedicated
to improving and cleaning up parks, trails, and other cache-friendly places.
Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our
outdoor resources!
Again this year, the SCGA will go all out to say thanks to the community by
doing our share. We hope this event is one of the ways that you will show your
appreciation to Brevard County Parks and Rec for allowing us to place caches
throughout the county in all of their parks. As the event is only 1 hour long,
please be prompt and ready to work.
There is a lot of work to be done on this day and you will be rewarded with a special
souvenir if you log a CITO event anytime during this weekend. So come out and lend
a hand and get a cool souvenir on your profile!
