 Via Ferrata degli Artisti
è la prima via ferrata realizzata in provincia di Savona. Si tratta di un percorso di medio-alta difficoltà che si sviluppa sulla parete rocciosa dei Balzi Rossi, una struttura orografica affacciata sulla val Maremola caratterizzata da una roccia di colore rossastro che da il nome alla parete.
I passaggi chiave, cioè più impegnativi sono la prima parete subito all'attacco, il ponte tibetano lungo circa 40 metri e sospeso all'interno di una profonda gola (aggirabile su sentiero) ed il passaggio subito dopo, durante il quale si attraversa a sinistra su pioli il paretone (molto esposto) per poi risalirne l'aereo spigolo -espostissimo- fino al terrazzo sovrastante.
Difficoltà: AD via ferrata, Abbastanza Difficile
Durata 0,5 ore di avvicinamento, 3,5 ore VF + discesa 1 ora. Ma tenete conto che si arriva senza problemi a 7 ore in tutto se ce la si prende un po comodamente.
Dislivello: Dall'attacco a 675 m all'arrivo in cima a Costa Balzi Rossi a 1309 m si percorrono 634 mt di VF, + un centinaio su sentiero
Distanza: VF Circa 1500 mt, in tutto si percorrono circa 9 km.
Attrezzatura: imbrago, casco, kit ferrata con longe e dissipatore, guanti, da bere e mangiare, una giacca vento (se c'è vento, si è molto esposti)
Accesso: Procedere in direzione Magliolo, presso la Chiesa dei Santi Cosma e Damiano bisogna deviare per Isallo, seguendo i cartelli marrone che indicano la Via Ferrata. Dopo Isallo la strada si fa più ripida e stretta. Proseguire fino al WP P se muniti di vettura idonea, altrimenti fermarsi un chilometro prima dove finisce l'asfalto e proseguire a piedi.

is the first via ferrata ("iron route") built in the province of Savona. It is secured climbing route of medium-high difficulty that develops on the rock wall named Balzi Rossi (italian for "Red Jumps"), an orographic structure overlooking the Maremola valley made of a reddish rock that gives its name to the wall.
The key steps of this Via Ferrata, that are the most challenging are the first wall immediately at the start of the route, the 40 meters long Tibetan bridge suspended in a deep gorge (you may sidestep it via the path) and the proximate passage, during which you will cross to the left pegs on the large, very exposed wall and then traced over the severely exposed ridge up to the terrace above.
Rating: AD via ferrata, Fairly Difficult
Duration: 0.5 hours of approach + 3.5 hours of VF + 1 hour return. But consider that it may take you up to 7 hours in all if you proceed leisurely.
Altitude difference: From the start of the VF at 675 m to the arrival atop Costa Balzi Rossi at 1309 m it's 634 meters , + another hundred meters on the path.
Distance: VF About 1,500 mt, altogether you'll walk and climb for about 9 km.
Equipment: harness, helmet, ferrata kit with longe and sink, gloves, s.th to drink and eat, a wind jacket (if it is windy, it is very exposed up there)
Access: Proceed towards Magliolo, near the Church of Saints Cosma and Damian turn in the direction of Isallo, following the brown signs that indicate the Via Ferrata. After Isallo the road gets steep and narrow. Continue to the WP P if you're equipped with a suitable vehicle, otherwise stop one kilometer before where the asphalt ends and proceed on foot.

ist der erste in der Provinz Savona erbaute Klettersteig. Dieser verlaeuft mit mittlerem bis mittel-hohem Schwierigkeitsgrad, auf der Felswand der Costa Balzi Rossi (italiensich die "roten Sprünge") , im Maremola Tal. Es sind diese rötlichen Felsen, die der Felswand ihren Namen geben.
Die drei Schlüsselpassagen, das ist die größte Herausforderung mirt sich bringen sind die allererste steile Wand sofort am Startpunkt, die etwas 40 Meter lange tibetische Brücke, die über eine tiefe Schlucht führt (die Brücke ist umgehbar) und der darauffolgende Streckenabschnitt, in welchem man auf den Steigbügeln eine große exponierte Wand seitlich überqueren muss und dann die darauffolgende Steigung auf dem extrem exponierten Grat bis hin zur darüberliegenden zu der Terrasse .
Schwierigkeitsgrad: AD Klettersteig, d.h. ziemlich schwierig
Dauer: 0,5 Stunden Zustieg + 3,5 Stunden ViF + 1 Stunde Rückweg. Bitte kalkuliert ein, dass man problemlos auf 7 Stunden kommt, wenn man es nur ein wenig gemütlich angehen lässt.
Höhenunterschied: Von den 675 m vom Startpunkt der VF bis zu der Ankunft auf dem Gipfel der Costa Balzi Rossi bei 1309 m sind es 634 Höhenmeter VF + crica weitere hundert auf dem Wanderweg.
Entfernung: VF Über 1.500 mt, insgesamt lauft und klettert Ihr circa 9 km.
Ausrüstung: Klettergurt, Helm, Klettersteigset mit Longe und Fangstossdaempfer, Handschuhe, genug zu Essen und Trinken, eineWindjacke (wenn es windig ist, wird's oben schnell kalt)
Anfahrt: In Richtung Magliolo, dort bei der Kirche der Heiligen Cosmaì und Damian in Richtung Isallo abbiegen, den braunen Schildern, zur Via Ferrata degli Artisti folgend. Nach Isallo wird die Strasse steiler und schmaler. Bis zum WP P weiter fahren, sofern Ihr mit einem geeigneten Auto unterwegs seidausgestattet, ansonsten in etwa einen Kilometer vorher, wo der Asphalt endet parken und zu Fuß weiter gehen.
