Geocache Description:

The 2015 Metro Parks GeoTrail highlights Nature’s Masters of Disguise. The trail takes you on a tour of parks while learning about camouflage and other ways animals hide in plain sight. This year’s trail includes a variety of cache types and difficulty levels. The first 100 teams to find 15 GeoTrail caches are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. Find all 20 GeoTrail caches to unlock the coordinates for the Bonus Cache. Trail ends Aug 31.

This cache is out in plain sight and on the ground, but can be easily overlooked.  Egg eaters, like the Gray Ratsnake, might mistake it for a tasty treat.  Bring your own pencil.

To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net to find complete instructions.  Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches.  As you find the caches write down the code number found in each cache on the GeoTrail page.  You will need all 20 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle cache.

Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on September 12th.  Geocoins will be awarded at the event to the first 100 teams to find 15 GeoTrail caches and return their GeoTrail page. Coins will be mailed to teams unable to attend, after September 12th.
