Geocache Description:

I hid this cache here because it is a part of the Great Seal Park that most people don't go to.  The  access road is Schrake Road.  About 20 yards to the right of the cache, Schrake Road continues up towards Sand Hill.  It apears that it continued up the hill at one time and when continue your hiking up the hill will come upon what looks to be a foundation for a dwelling place.  Please at sometime continue on and grab Sand (Hill) Box and Rock Bottom.

I hid this cache on the day that I suffered a broken leg while geocaching.  I was on my way out of the woods after finding The Sand (Hill) Box and looking for Rock Bottom.  (I actually hid the cache BEFORE I broke my leg)

Thanks to the Springfield and Green Townships EMS crews for getting me out of the woods.  It took them 2 hours to get me out.  Where I had fallen was not easily accessible.  But they did it so professionally.  I will go back and mention the paramedics by name as I get them.

Also want to thank a fellow geocacher Kevin.  A medic that took care of me while I was at Adena Hospital.

Now for the lessons learned:

1. Never go into potentially dangerous areas alone

2. Send coordinates of the area you are going to be in to friends and family so they know where to look for you if somehting does happen.

3. Wear appropriate footwear

4. Always have ample supplies: Water... extra batteries for phone, etc

I also want to say thanks to friends who have helped me during this time.  Randy.. for helping the squad find me.

Lucy DaDog for loaning me a knee scooter.. what a life savor...

My wonderful wife Linda.. who has missed her calling not being a nurse... she has done me good.

And numberous other healthcare workers, doctors and surgeons that hopefully will be Humtpy Dumpty back together again!!!!
