Geocache Description:


One of the oldest structure in Drew County, the two-story, dogtrot-style Taylor House was built in 1846 as the center of the 11,000-acre Hollywood Plantation. The house is being restored by UAM. The cache is in sight of the house, but do not trespass on the house property. small container including a log.

2015 AFF Series:

Use of GIS (Global Information Systems) data, including GPS coordinates, is a major part of forestry in the 21st century. Geocaching provides a medium to highlight both skills used in the forestry industry and the tourist sites in the area. In cooperation with the Southern Leadership Network's "Geocache Southeast Arkansas" campaign, this cache is 1 of 24 caches that were placed as part of the Arkansas Forest Festival.
