Welcome to Lincoln Park, Bisected in half by a steep bluff that, in places, is a sheer cliff, the upper and lower halves of providing distinctly different environments. The souther, or upper half provides a beautiful bluff and high scenery of Spokane to the North. Come enjoy hiking, bird watching, biking and more. There are several caches here, but a little space was open, so I had to jump on the bandwagon for this series. Come prepared for a 1 mile round trip from the Lincoln Park parking lot (more you plan to find the other caches and/or other park options as well). Have fun!
The Earth revolves around the Sun in approximately 365.242199 days. The Gregorian calendar has 365 days in one year. Leap Year add a day on February 29 nearly every 4 years, so we don't lose almost six hours off our calendar every year. 2016 is the 4th Leap Year since Geocaching began.
I decided to place 29 caches in Spokane's South Hill to celebrate Leap Year 2016. I hope you enjoy the series!
