About the film:
BORDERLINE, made in 1980, is just another thrown-together, formula vehicle for Charles Bronson. This time Charlie plays a border patrol lawman who is hot on the trail of a nasty man named Hotchkiss (played by Ed Harris in his film debut). Hotchkiss has been smuggling in Mexicans and using the immigrants as slave labor. There are plenty of well-intended scenarios meant to illustrate the plight of the immigrants but it all gets lost in the bad writing and poor production values. Interesting supporting cast though, including Michael Lerner, Bruno Kirby and Wilford Brimley. The song “Borderline” by Madonna is much better.
About the cache:
You are looking for a cache placed near the St. Lucie/Indian River county border. We used to have a cache on the Indian River County side, but this one, this time, is on the St. Lucie side. It is attached to a much bigger host. No special tools required.
Fortunately there's a gas station next to the cache in case you need to get back across the border.
