Meeting is in a parking area at Ritter Park in Huntington. Event starts at 3:30 and ends at 4:30. Don't miss it! Your only other chance to submit your entry will be in Nitro on 4/28/15.
Bring your NEW travel bug so it may be entered into the race. Activate your trackable BEFORE you arrive, add any charm or token to it that you like to help identify it, and give your trackable a name. Trackable cannot have any miles on it before entering the race. The trackable entered cannot have been dropped in any cache or have visited any cache or event prior to this race.
Race coordinators will attach a small laminated tag to each race entry stating that it is part of the 2015 WV Travel Bug race. Trackables will all be released on 5/1/2015. The race will end on 5/1/2016.
Each person may enter one trackable in the race. If you are a family and cache under a single user name, you can have more than one entry on your username.
Race contestants are not permitted to pick up a trackables of other race contestants. This will help prevent potential foul play.
Will your bug win the race? Will it end up in a cache that is only visited once a year? Will it get muggled after the first 5 miles? Will it end up on the Internation Space Station? You never know what is going to happen once you release your bug out into our crazy world.

Even if you don't plan to enter the race, you are still welcome to attend the event to socialize!
