We've been visiting Alice Holt Forest for several years, but only recently discovered this lovely area by the Lodge Pond. We thought it would be the perfect place to hide our first cache!
From the main car park, the area can be reached by following either the 'Family Cycle Trail' (fairly easy terrain) or the 'Lodge Pond Trail' (a lovely route through the woods, but hills and tree roots make it much less pushchair/bike friendly!) A map is usually available from the Visitor Centre or Cafe.
You are looking for a small cache hidden a short distance from the main paths. There is space for small swaps and trackables.
This cache is on Forestry Commission land and has been placed with permission in accordance with the GAGB - Forestry Commission Agreement. As part of this Agreement, it is not permitted to seek the cache during the hours of darkness
