Geocache Description:

Have a seat on the red bench and think about where this cache may be.

This is a micro cache (BYOP). Placed with permission.

September 25, 2022: A quick update / clarification to the hints encouraging the searcher to "take a seat". Please only sit on the red bench located at 132 N. Payne St. When this cache was originally placed there was only one bench on that area of N. Payne. However, since then the next door neighbors have added their own benches which are private and they don't necessarily like to be disturbed with geocachers. Your help with respecting their space will ensure a continued long life for this fun cache. You may sit on the red bench by permission of homeowner. Have fun & happy searching!

September 25, 2022: Just an FYI that "George's Garage" that is located around the corner from this cache is not any sort of hint or waypoint for this cache. The name of the cache is not related in any way to that business. It's only a coincidence that it is there. That has caused some confusion for some searchers in the past.

November 5, 2021: The old log that was filled up has been replaced.

May 12, 2020: The old log that was filled up has been replaced and I also replaced the little tool that helps you pry the log out of the cache itself. Please try not to lose the tool and return it to the cache with the log once you sign it. Thanks to everyone who have searched and found this cache over the past 5 years or so. It's been great getting to meet many of you. Happy searching!

April 12, 2018: After a couple logs by searchers having no luck finding the cache I did just check on it and verify that the cache is still there in the right place and in fine shape. To those searchers who thought the cache may need maintenance I say, "it's all good." Come on back and give it another shot!

Feb. 26, 2017 Update: My beloved pet, George the Pigeon recently passed away. He enjoyed watching out the window as the searchers looked for "his" cache and many searchers had a great time watching George watch them. The cache and the original description will continue to be maintained in his memory. However, the hints about the pigeon being perched close by are no longer relevant. Rest in peace George....

Original description: This cache is often guarded by an angry pigeon named George who can often be seen perched close by, just above the cache. If you see George you know you're close, so have a seat and think about where it might be.
