Brownie Girl Scout Troop 41926 has placed another geocache-letterbox hybrid cache for the community to find as part of their Letterbox badge.
Thanks go out to the wonderful Caldwell Nature Preserve for allowing us to place this cache and maintaining a beautiful natural area for us to explore!
Please park in the Caldwell Nature Preserve's parking lot off of North Bend Road. Go to the Trail head for Trail "A". Trail “A” starts at the large rock off the parking lot and runs east along the parking lot). Head northwest to the large telephone pole. Once in line with the telephone pole continue on the trail for an additional 62 paces (single steps). (Note: Placer is a 5'4" female) You should be at or near a tree that is encroaching on the trail on the right with a lot of names engraved in it. Please do not add your own! Continue another 5 paces (single steps) and look left. There should be a tree about 10 - 12 feet from the trail with several fallen branches at its base. Here you will find the cache.
