Geocache Description:

Placing an actual cache on campus as a reward for completing the Where's Pete? Discovery Trail

Official trail map here: https://wellness.okstate.edu/site-files/documents/trail_guide.pdf

In cooperation with OSU's first Chief Wellness Officer (Dr. Suzy Harrington), OSU Marketing, OSU Admissions, the OSU Physical Plant and others, I placed 15 bricks with Pistol Pete embedded in them across the core of campus. The Where's Pete? Discovery Trail is accessible 24/7 for visitors, and the bricks are placed in locations that aren't always noticed on campus, to showcase some of the campus' hidden treasures. The trail is part of the health initiatives of America's Healthiest Campus®. The total trail length is a little over 2 miles, all on paved walks and kid-friendly. After that kind of walk, we wanted to provide a reward, so we had Pathtags® made to celebrate the exploration of campus. After completing your trail map questions, you can pick up your Pathtag® at the Student Union. To draw geocachers, I am placing an actual geocache on campus so the trail will count as a find. The questions to be answered along the trail will have clues as to the final location. The physical location of the final has been moved from the original location due to construction. If you have solved the puzzle before June 1, 2021, you will need to use your old answers to solve for the new coordinates.
