Bad Man Jose: Replacing this series. I did a maintenance run today and had to either replace or move half of the placements. I decided it was time to re-do this trail, add better hints, and start again. Thanks to those who visited — hope you enjoyed the trail/falls.

Sustitución de esta serie. Hice un mantenimiento hoy y tuve que reemplazar o mover la mitad de las colocaciones. Decidí que era hora de volver a hacer este camino, añadir mejores consejos, y empezar de nuevo. Gracias a aquellos que visitaron - espero que te gustó el sendero / cataratas.

Geocache Description:

This series of caches is placed along the trail going to Palo Santa Maria waterfall (visit link) . From Puerto Vallarta, take the orange bus to Boca from the Zona Romantica’s Basillo Badillo & Constitucion streets (8 pesos) and get off at the trail head..

The trail requires a reasonable level of fitness due to heat, humidity and scrambling over boulders. There are several river crossings; wading may be required during the rainy season, otherwise boulder-hopping is sufficient. The trail is well marked and a guide is not necessary. The falls and a nice swimming hole are at the end of the trail. Several other falls lie beyond the first one, but access necessitates scaling the falls with rope/cables on the left side, which is not advised.

All caches are small Tupperware containers, and all but one are on the ground hidden by rocks. Please use stealth when required and re-hide as found. Attributes, difficulty and terrain ratings are an average for the series and trail.

Esta serie de cachés se coloca a lo largo del sendero que va a Palo Santa María cascada (visit link) Desde Puerto Vallarta, tomar el autobús naranja a Boca de Basillo Badillo y Constitucion calles de la Zona Romantica (8 pesos) y bajar en la cabeza de la pista ..

El sendero requiere un nivel razonable de estado físico debido al calor, la humedad y trepando por las rocas. Hay varios cruces de ríos; vadeo puede ser necesaria durante la temporada de lluvias, de lo contrario canto-hopping es suficiente. El sendero está bien marcado y una guía no es necesario. Las caídas y una agradable piscina natural están en el extremo de la pista. Varias otras caídas se encuentran más allá de la primera, pero el acceso requiere escalar las caídas con la cuerda / cables en el lado izquierdo, lo que no se aconseja.

Todos los cachés son pequeños recipientes Tupperware, y todos menos uno están en la planta oculta por rocas. Por favor, utilizar el sigilo cuando sea necesario y volver a ocultar como se encuentra. Atributos, de dificultad y de terreno calificaciones son un promedio para la serie y sendero.
