Placed for part of our Celebratory Event 4/19/15. Park where you would park for Bridge to Eagle cache-upon entering the park travel on the path to the left of the eagle statue, follow to the one way road, past the bike trail entrance and park at the pull off after the gate to the field. Take the trail located straight ahead of parking-on the right side of the road. NO NIGHT CACHING, Park is open sunrise to sunset
We received this cache container at a white elephant gift exchange. IowaPete made a set of these containers. If you've ever met IowaPete, hes a swell guy who makes great little containers! While placing this we were able to have a stand off with a deer who happened upon our path-we stayed staring at each other for quite some time, until her babies came across the path, then we ventured on to find this spot. We know IowaPete enjoys his walks in the woods, so hopefully someday he will be able to come out and hunt this cache named after him.
