Rabbit Pelt Traditional Cache

Old State Rt 30 is an official ski trail and easy to hike. You can hike a loop to Deer Pond and back via this trail. Parking is available at three spots, at the Deer Pond Trailhead on Rt. 30, across from Raquette River Boat Launch Site ( N 44 14.404, W 074 23 297), or at the end of Old Wawbeek Rd. Between Raquette River Boat Launch and Old Wawbeek Rd, there is a beaver dam and a culvert.

It's spring and I'm getting itchy for geocaching. While hiking, I came on a rabbit that met its doom. I took that as a sign from the geocaching gods that the spot should be marked, so a cache appeared from my pack. Container is a camo'd bottle, hopefully well hidden. I left the pelt, hopefully for the FTF! BYOP.
