The cache is located near Boreen Point camping ground and can be accessed by parking in the day use area just outside the campsite (if not camping, that is) and walking along the beach. It should be just before the start of the Cooloothin Conservation park.
There can be lots of muggles around if in camping season but none should be interested in this exact location.
The lake is very shallow so good for safe swimming with the kids and a myriad of watersports such as sailing, kayaking/canoeing, kite-surfing, sailboarding and fishing.
We placed this cache while camping here on the school holidays and letting Hotspur have a good play.
The cache had to be replaced due to its disappearance 4 months after placement. We decided to move it further along the beach from the original location away from the majority of muggles. GPS signal is bouncy around the trees so use the hint when you get close.
