Highest mountain in England and Wales at 3560ft
This is quite a nice place to celebrate my 10000th find that I should have past by this date. The day before I have an event on Scafell Pike (Highest in England).
All are welcome to meet up at the summit of Snowdon at 12:00 hrs Sunday, 31st May. Finish at 12:31 hrs.
Here we can chat about anything caching, admire the scenery and talk about anything that comes to mind over lunch. There are also some good caches in the area.
How you climb the mountain is entirely up to you but please go prepared and remember mountain safety and the weather is very important to bear in mind. Weather can change rapidly in Snowdonia so please do not take any risks. The rest is common sense but although most are experienced , please read about mountain safety before you ascend if you are not. Going down is often more dangerous.
There are several routes, some not so hard as others. Best to examine nearby caches for more info.
