The Mt.Thom Park has fabulous views of the entire valley, taking in Cultus Lake to the south, west as far as the skies allow, and north towards Harrison and the rising peaks of the mountains. The existing trails meander around the various view points through old growth giant trees, and well manicured new trails have continued into other areas. When craft40, Cristata & I hiked these trails, we watched as eagles circled each other in heat drafts below the elevation we had climbed to and from which we took in stunning views!
This cache is situated near the crossroad where you can go on to the Summit or back along a well defined easy trail to the parking area. No need to retrace your tracks back.
