Geocache Description:

Hello there, fellow Geocachers.  I am a member of the Sisterhood of Gnomes, an organisation that serves to correct the sins of these other Gnome Societies and Trusts and introduce female gnomes into the world of Geocaching.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Sapphire and I am named after the most precious and valuable gemstone that you can find.  Like my namesake, I am very desirable due to my sharp colour, my hardness, my durability and my luster.  I am closely related to fellow Sister, Ruby.  I am blue, whereas she is red, but if you catch me on a bad day without any colour, I will look more like the mineral Corundum.  Despite me being very similar to Sister Ruby, it is a well-known fact within the Gnome world that Reds and Blues cannot mix.  I can be no closer than 50 metres to any red and vice versa so I was very pleased when the Admin lady dispatched Ruby far away.

If we were to ever meet, then the world of Gnomes would collapse and the world would be overcome by Aliens from the Planet Lorien - as a peace-keeping organisation, the Sisterhood of Gnomes (SOG) want to avoid this at all costs, so do us a favour, and don’t bring Sister Ruby anywhere near me, unless she has full protective gear on.

I am located along the main road from the Convent into the land of our Cheshire brethren, the Admin lady has told me to pass on that this road is extremely dangerous and she does not recommend you to do this as a “driving-by” or whatever you Geocachers call it.  She recommends that you park in one of the side-roads a short distance away from my house, and then walk down to see me.

Thank you for your understanding on both counts and I look forward to making your acquaintance.

Sapphire
