Geocache Description:

warning hint could ruin the search!!

Howford Bridge carries the B9090 across the River Nairn a mile or so south of Nairn. The bridge is a 2 span girder bridge, with lattice work parapets and was built in 1905. The abutments and central pier are all stone, carrying the deep steel girders. Unfortunately, due to the vegetation along the river bank, it is difficult to see the bridge clearly, even in winter!
