Geocache Description:

The May 5th Celebration!!

This 3rd annual eat and greet event is being held @ Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant in Lyons, Indiana. We can share great geocaching stories over food and drink. They have a full menu of authentic mexican cuisine. They also serve burgers and fries for those of you that would like to attend but don't like mexican food.

We will be gathering at 6pm (1800) in the right hand side of the restaurant as you enter the door. Its a separate banquet style room. All persons are responsible for their own bill. You are NOT required to eat to attend this event. You can simply show up and join in the fellowship if you like. We will try to wrap up the event around 8pm (2000). "Will Attend" logs are by no means mandatory for this event but they are encouraged so that the business will be ready to accommodate us.

This is an inside event and they have a children's menu. All cachers are welcome, bring your friends as well. Hopefully we can get them hooked on caching and some fantastic food. The owner knows what geocaching is, in fact we even took him to find one once and he enjoyed it quite a bit. If there is something that you normally like to eat but you don't see it on the menu just tell the server and they will try their best to have the cooks match your taste buds.

There are even things that aren't on the menu that we order all the time. Deep fried Jalepenos being one of them. They also have a dish that is named after the owner, Jose "Alfredo" Moreno. It is called the Alfredo Special. It's a plate of cheese nachos with shrimp, chicken and jalepenos, it's topped with guacamole and sour cream with a slice of tomato. Coke products and several alcoholic beverages fill out the drink menu. Please be responsible and respectful of the event attendees. This restaurant is fully handicap accessible.
