Geocache Description:

Lots of trails with great views of the lake, you can come at this cache from many directions, but the downhill side is probably going to be the easiest.

From below, park at the end of Poplar Point Dr, easy walking trails will get you within about 100 meters of the cache, at which point you will have to cut straight up the hill. It's a little steep, but easy terrain.

Once at ground zero, your geosense should make this an easy find.

This cache is placed in memory of my Grampa Charlie, affectionately known as the Chu Chua Cowboy, who lived and ranched outside of Barriere, British Columbia, in a community called Chu Chua.  He passed away in 2001, but lives on in memory of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The cache is themed, including items related to western culture, cowboys/girls, farming, ranching etc.  If possible, we would love for items left behind to be in the same theme. (though, if you don't have any items that fit the theme, then anything is fine :) )

Grampa would have probably said that this geocaching business is "bughouse", but I think he might also get a kick out of seeing the logs of everyone who visits the cache.

Enjoy the view!
