There is a bike path that runs along a new park the length of the Shenzhen Bay, opened up for the Universiade in July 2011. Shahe West Road (Sand River canal) most of the way to the GD Greenway without crossing any vehicular traffic. But on Shahe East Road you have not seen any rivers at all.
