Przed wojną produkowane w Telfie centrale pozwoliły zrobić pierwszy krok w telefonizacji kraju. W PRL firma nadal dynamicznie się rozwijała produkująca nowoczesne na miarę czasów urządzenia. Po transformacji nie brakowało chętnych na jej przejęcie. Ostatecznie Telfa stała się własnością amerykańskiego koncernu.
Jerzy Bak był inicjatorem budowy budynku jeszcze w czasach działalności przedsiębiorstwa Telfa. Dnia 22 lutego 1999 roku oficjalnie dokonał jego uroczystego otwarcia

About this spot:
Before the WWII, Telfa's Telephone Central boxes allowed to take the first step in the country's telephone lines coverage. During the PRL, company has continued to develop modern manufacturing equipment. Following transformation, there was no shortage of applicants for its acquisition. Telfa eventually became the property of the American company.
In the Old Telfa Days of the company Jerzy Bak was the initiator to construct this building. Now on Feburary 22, 1999 Jerzy Bak officialy conducted the grand opening
