These are the standard enemies of the Super Mario series.
Goombas
Goombas are Bowser’s pawns. They are a two-legged creature that is part of the toad family. They are based off a mushroom in appearance, like the toads. They bare fangs, have bushy eyebrows and no arms, and are brown and small. Goombas only defense is to head butt the enemy. But because they have no arms, they can be picked up and thrown by Shy Guys and human characters.
Koopas
Koopas are the stronger knights in Bowser’s army. The tortoise-like two-legged creatures are yellow, with green, red, blue and sometimes pink shells. They wear a white tee shirt under their shells. Koopas’ defense is their shells, but there is a disadvantage to that. A person can stomp on their defense mechanisms, making them hide inside, then throw the shelled creature. If the hidden Koopas hit another shell, the Koopas die.
Hammer Bros
Hammer Bros are the strongest knights in the Koopa army, another division of Bowser’s pawns. Like Koopas, they are yellow turtles who have either a green, red, blue or black shell. They do not wear a tee shirt under their shells, however. A Hammer Bro will throw hammers at you and periodically jump without warning. A bigger one (aka Fat Hammer Bro) will slam into the ground when you are near, and the human Mega Hammer can throw hammers in all directions as well as fly.
