Holding's oak Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

UKDgc: Unable to get to this site so have to let it go . This lane will be particularly interesting if it becomes the southern limit of the planned development south of Worcester . I have had sight of the "sheds" constructed beyond the St.Peters roundabout where once there was a field and a pond (site of a couple of my hides made when walking Murphy back in the day) . Google street view shows the farm on holdings lane where once there was a hop yard and vining shed but my dog walking days are over leaving any of those hides made then out of reach , a penalty of advancing years . My plan now is to watch progress with finds of these caches and archive any that fall out of use in the hope that other fellow cachers will notice and perhaps feel inspired to fill the gaps . Happy caching , UKDgc aka Andrew.

Geocache Description:

Another reason to explore this lane south of Worcester . Not on a footpath this time but a perfect cache and dash if you want it . A clip lock box with not much to hide it under this oak but shouldnt be a problem since its fairly remote from muggles.

It looks like the lane  was straightened here not so long ago and the newly created verge was planted up with native trees and shrubs amongst them two nice oaks . One day they will become as noble as the others in hedgerows round  here , that is if this that is supposed to be the southern boundary of the new development south of Worcester is adhered to .
