Geocache Description:

Three years ago we spotted a bobcat at this location. It pounced on a ground squirrel and ran off. Today, two deer sprinted across the hill straight at us through the trees. Apparently, they didn't see us until they were about 20 feet away. They starteld us, then we startled them. A quick adjustment to their path and they sailed on by.

The making of thie cache started about 3 months ago. Just took us this long to find a good spot and the time to hide it. This is one of our favorite places to begin a hike. So many trails in so many directions. Just park at Bob Pond. Watch for rattlesnakes and cow patties. There are a couple tricks to opening this cache. No need to force anything.
