Geocache Description:

Welcome to this wonderful, maybe a little muddy Ponds & Wetlands of Landis Arboretum Multi-Cache.  On the day I placed this I got my 600th cache. Congratulations to C5Z FTF!

Update 7/14/2018: With issues with the first container I have put the new start coordinates as a sign that was near the original container spot.

Part 2 = N 42° 47.BAC' W 74° 16.DEF'

Wetlands from unique plant and animal communities, (A) species especially adapted to the environment. Water-loving trees, shrubs, and (E) plants are the basis for the food chains. Animals use wetlands for homes, food, breeding grounds, and shelter. (F) and microorganisms recycle (B) plants, animals, and (D) products to complete the food chain and return (C) for use by the plants and animals.

I have been thinking that Landis Arboretum needed a multi-cache so now there is one along with some Traditional and Mystery caches.  This cache has three stages and as the name of the cache indicates each stage is near a body of water in the arboretum. Hope you see some turtles, frogs, and other wetland ceatures. Also while placing this cache I saw a Ruffed Grouse a number of times. Hope you have fun with this cache I had fun setting it up, but watch out for the mud!

The rest of the caches in the Arboretum:

Capital Region Geocaching Mission BONUS - There is a stop for the mission in Landis Arboretum but you have to travel all over the Capital Region to actually find the bonus.

There are also four caches by cdparker1 at Landis Arboretum, är-bu-'re-tum unus, är-bu-'re-tum quattuor, är-bu-'re-tum duo, and är-bu-'re-tum tres.
