Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the Running Water Draw Site One Dam.  It is 2.1 miles from the trailhead. This trail has a few steep hills and some sandy areas.  Its a fun hike or ride and this cache will take you somewhere most people don't know exists. Attempt this cache at your own risk!

This cache will take you on a 2.1 mile hike/bike ride though one of the many trails at Ned Houk Park.  Round trip will be 4.2 miles so pack plenty of water in the hot summer months and be prepared cell phone service is hit or miss out there.  You will probably want good shoes and pants.  You will need a flash light to help you find this cache.  There is a slight possibility of water running through this area but I don't think I've ever seen it rain enough to do so.  Start at the trailhead waypoint and then follow the markers that say 501 on the trail.  You will pass PFB "Tele's Cache" (Man's Best Outdoor Companion) and Log The Log.  Then you turn north on the trail right next to A Watchful Eye.  Once you get to Almost There you should have a pretty good idea of where to go from there.  The cache is a large ammo box with plenty of room to trade.  I have put some camping/adventure swag in the cache so you might find something you may need!  Just be careful and attempt this cache at your own risk!

Yes there is a dam out here!  I can no longer find information on it but I do know originally Ned Houk park was meant to be a recreational lake of sorts.  I'm not sure really what water they were trying to dam up but they did construct this dam.  Now it sits there with absolutely zero water on either side of it.
