Geocache Description:

Seventh in a series of caches for kids at the Berwick Test Track Area.  Cache has a log, pencil, and a couple of small toys. Please be sure to seal ziplocks when done.

This cache is named for Thumper,  Bunny made famous in the movie "Bambi".  You're looking for a unique regular container near the bike trail.  Cache has smaller tinkets.

Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail is a series of kids caches leading to a large final cache dedicated to our granddaughters.  The intent was to provide a nice family day of caching in a great setting.  We tried to keep the bushwhacking to a minimum.

Caches are also designed to highlight the Berwick Test Track Area.  Park is only open during daylight hours. The Test Track was originally used to test tanks produced be the American Car and Foundry company in the center of town.  The factory had been dedicated to manufacturing tanks for the World War II effort.  The Test track has been being revitalized in recent years.  Ball fields and a new boat launch have been built. 2 trails are there and figure into this series.  The Test Track Area has become a focal point for activities for Baseball and soccer and for the annual Riverfest.  We hope you'll enjoy this riverside recreation area.
