Geocache Description:

How well do you know Morfy Lou now? Will you see what you ought to see?

This is such a beautiful part of Aberdare. The Gadlys Pit paths take you past where the pit was, past where rails used to lay for coal trains to traverse. I've brought family and friends here and it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful and history-rich this area is. This cache has been hidden to commemorate a very special weekend and thus this cache is named 'out of heaven' in the welsh tongue. Of course its also another song title for those who may care to wonder what on earth I keep naming my caches. A small magnetic though you won't be needing to look for anything metal this time.

***Edit*** Ok, so you should be by the metal footbridge, not the wooden one which is closed off. The cache is near the metal gate across the path, within the wall, which has a small stream-type puddly wet bit in front, so mind your feet or wear wellies. This is meant to be difficult but it really isn't - but the trees do play havoc with most GPS devices which give different readings. My iPhone with the GC.com app actually finds it fine, where as most Garmins etc (like I also use as well) can decide to misbehave. Hint WAS 'This cache is for my beloved rock' - its in a wall, and I placed it to mark a special occasion with my beloved ('Team Spuffard').
