Rosie's cache Traditional Cache

This is a nice easy cache,the terrain is suitable for most people including wheelchair users although some assistance may be required to retrieve the cache.However,it is still close to a road which can be busy at times and there is a brook nearby so caution is required  with little cachers.The area can be very busy at times particularly during the school run.

We discovered geocaching almost 2 years ago whilst on holiday.Since then we've been hooked.I have loved the ingenuity of some of the hides and containers and decided it would be fun to place my own cache.This will be my first cache and placed not far from home.We would often walk our  little dog Rosie along this path and go onto the canal path ,down to The a Ferry Tavern and surrounding area.For some reason,she wasn't keen on this pathway and would either sit down not wanting to continue or try to turn and go back.We never knew why she didn't like it.Sadly,we lost Rosie just over a year ago, but she is never far from our thoughts.Whilst walking to set this cache,we were reminded of Rosie and her funny ways so I felt this cache would be a fitting tribute to her.
