Geocache Description:

We have been enjoying this little wild place for over 18 years and have seen deer, coyotes, great horned owls and merlins in this wonderful spot.

Update #1: As this locale has many natural springs, the area in which this cache is located could be quite wet if it has been raining - it has been our experience that if one approaches this cache from the northwest then one can keep quite dry at most times. If there has been any rain in the previous few days then be aware that muddy footwear is a very real possibility while seeking out this cache.

Update #2: Checked on geocache on August 1, 2015 after what had been a number of quite hot and dry days and much to my surprise, it is very wet and muddy in the locale of this geocache. So please be advised that it is a very real possibility that your footwear will get muddy when seeking out this geocache and if you slip or fall (a very real possibility), you will get muddy. This I know because I came out with one mud covered foot (was in sandals ) and I am the owner of this geocache and I know this area very well. Apparently, the spring which comes out of the hillside at this locale has a very good underground source of water - great for the environment, not so much for people seeking out this geocache.

If one is careful, one should not have to get one's feet wet but please note that the hours one can seek out this cache are restricted because it is in the middle of a large cemetery - visiting hours are 05:00 - 23:00 and there is parking available within the cemetery. Please note that this geocache was placed in accordance with the city of Calgary's rules with respect to the placement of geocaches in their cemeteries.

Medium sized cache (camo hinged lock & lock) with some silver Canadian coinage as FTF items plus some stuff for the younger geocachers. Nearest parking is under 50 meters away as the crow flies. Please ensure cache is placed back into it's position with camouflage in place as this area is regularly visited by muggles and such - this also makes the search just as much fun for the next person.
