This wide pull-off is just the spot for a grand view of the colorful valley, varied in it's foliage and layout. Leading up to the mountains beyond, offering a great backwall to the vantage point below. Depending on the season, you will either see bright and vibrant greens, with heavenly spring colors showing in their most magnificent, and water trickling in the pond and through the creek, or maybe a fog or cloud-topped mountain background that leaves the viewer to wonder what secrets they may hold. Of course we can't forget about winter, with its blanket of white, again offering a different reason to stop and admire what is layed out before, bathing everything in glorious sleep for the spring rebirth to come.
Although the little known history that must be added is the remnants that you see in the above picture. For they tell the story of what once was, that would make the inquisitive mind go into overdrive trying to figure out what could've been. That which you see laid before you now in a couple piles of shambles is the remains of what once was a mink farm. I remember when it was still active and not as it is now, so I decided to make it known in case others are curious about what they see, beyond the gorgeous location, as well.
