After I saw the previous cache that was on this island had been archived I decided to snatch up my opportunity to place an island cache!
This cache is located on a small ISLAND in steillacoom lake, so you will need a small boat of somekind to reach the island. The easiest way to get to the island would be to launch your boat from "Edgewaterpark". There are "No Parking" signs along the boat launch but there are many places to pull off along the road before and after the park. Once in the water, you should head out directly to your left. You should see a small island just before the road bridge in the distance, that is the one you want! There is a perfect little spot to beach your raft on the northeast side of the island.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL there is some glass on the island left behind by muggles, wear good shoes!
Because there are thorns on this island I was afraid of overgrowth swallowing my cache whole so I decided to keep it simple. You are looking for a black bison tube that is attached to its hiding spot, so please just unscrew the bottom. DON'T FORGET YOUR PEN! The cache is located within the first 20 ft of the island!
