Geocache Description:

These five Pepwell Peregrination caches form a circular walk of 1 ½ miles or can be done as an extension from the Crossway green circuits No 2.

Some parking is available in Stoney Lane and refreshments facilities are available on the A449. The stroll is 1 ½ miles of easy walking over flat terrain but has some stiles, and as the paths cross working farmland tractors and machinery may be in use. Some sections may contain mud. Please bring your own pencil.

From No4 the path heads North West across the field to the houses which can be seen on the brow of the hill. If the field has been freshly cultivated the path may not yet be reinstated, if so follow the headland to the right (north) then turn left along Pepwell lane to reach your goal. The clearly marked path then goes through a hedge and crosses a private garden and through a gateway to re-join Pepwell lane, please be aware this is someone’s private garden absolutely no caches are within the boundary. Turn left and walk along Pepwell lane to join Stoney Lane then turn right to No5.

You are looking for a bison tube.

Our thanks to Mr Denby the parish path warden for his enthusiasm and encouragement in the production of these caches.

Follow Stoney Lane north for 240 metres back to your starting point.
