Geocache Description:

Located at the heart of MK, Campbell Park hosts many major festivals and events. Its imaginative mix of formal gardens, woodland and open pasture mean it’s an ideal spot to enjoy the changing seasons. This is #2 of the Fanzone Series of caches to celebrate a summer of sporting events in the park in 2015. The cache is not at this location. The virtual waypoints are hidden so you may find google maps and a compass helpful.

You are on the Campbell Park concourse, there is a Helipad very nearby, consider this 12 o’clock and the Fanzone concourse represents a clock. Your first Waypoint is 4 O’clock, here you will find a green orienteering post – There is a number on here which is A (ignore the letters)

As this post has since disappeared A is 3.

Use a compass to find a compass? From this point head North West when you find this natural compass point, take the path South West but don’t bridge it yet!. A red triangle in a white square will give you a clue, two numbers – these are 3B. Beware the prickly leaves!

Finally we look for our next clue. Return to the compass and head along the South East pathway, pass by the Fanzone to your left until you meet a three way split (165 metres from the compass to be precise). Look to the Infoboard.

Q1. How far is the Art Trail? A= 2.Ckm long

Q2. How far is the Family Walk? A= 1.Dkm long

Q3. How far is the Lake & Woodland Walk? A= Ekm

Final location – From this point you need to follow the path South West which take you under the road to a small part of the park. The location of the cache is

N 52° 0E.(B-A)D7 W 000° DD.C70

FTF: Congrats to Mcaddy who narrowly beat the STF to the cache!
