O Lago Norte é um dos mais aprazíveis bairros de Brasília. Por ser uma península, com formato muito parecido ao mapa da Itália, e com entradas e saídas por um único lado, o bairro é relativamente desconhecido dos próprios brasilienses. O Lago Norte é dividido em QLs (quadras do lago), aquelas que margeiam o Lago Paranoá, e QIs (quadras interiores), aquelas que margeiam o centro da península. As ruas do Lago Norte são chamadas de "conjuntos". Este conjunto representa o modelo originalmente idealizado pelos projetistas de Brasília, onde o jardim da frente das casas é uma área pública. Aprecie a diferença com outros conjuntos próximos.
Ao chegar na coordenada indicada, olhe à sua esquerda e conte o número X de palmeiras finas e altas, típicas do Cerrado, conhecidas como Guariroba (Syagrus oleracea), muito utilizadas em paisagismo nas casas do bairro. É um número entre 5 e 10.
Agora vá até o próximo waypoint no final do conjunto, olhe para a última casa no final do conjunto, e conte o número Y de Palmeiras Imperiais (Roystonea oleracea), assim chamada por terem sido trazidas pelo Imperador Pedro II do Caribe para o Brasil.
Agora vá para o ponto QI 1, Conjunto X, Casa Y. Atente para a diferença entre QL e QI.

The Lago Norte (North Lake) is one of the more pleasant neighborhoods in Brasilia. Being a peninsula with very similar format to the map of Italy, and with a single entrancy, the neighborhood is relatively unknown even to the people from Brasilia. The Lago Norte is divided into QLs (“quadras do lago”), those bordering the Lake Paranoá, and QIs (“quadras internas”), those that border the center of the peninsula. North Lake streets are called "conjuntos". This conjunto is the model originally designed by the creators of Brasilia, where the front yard of the house is a public area. Enjoy the difference with other nearby conjuntos.
Upon arriving at the indicated coordinate, look to your left and count the number X of thin and tall palm trees, typical of the Cerrado, known as Guariroba (Syagrus oleracea), largely used in landscape gardening in the houses of the neighborhood. It is a number between 5 and 10.
Now go to the next waypoint at the end of the conjunto, look at the last house at the end of the street and count the number Y of Palmeiras-Imperiais - Imperial Palms (Roystonea oleracea), so called because they were brought by Emperor Pedro II from the Caribbean to Brazil. These are relatively tall and thick palm-trees.
