This cache is an easy to get to geocache. You drive almost right up to it. Easy access, trail head to Nature Trail. This geocache is the second of three planned along the FutureFuel Nature Trail as part of my Eagle Scout project. The trail is about 1.5 miles long if you would like to walk the entire path. This geocache is at the head. There is another Cache about half-way through. Another is planned for later. The Cache is a medium/large watertight clear box that was positioned in the trail head arch. It is easy to find. The nature trails were originally developed in the early 1990's by a dedicated group of Eastman Chemical employees as a National Wildlife Habitat project. There are over 50 trees identified with markers, four bridges, an outdoor mini-theater, wetland pond, wildlife meadows, and several other things to see along the trails. There is a map in the trail head you can borrow that lists some of the things to see. The trails were refurbished and repaired in 2014-2015 as part of my Eagle Scout project. The nature trail is open to the public even if the gate is closed. It is not locked, just closed sometimes.
