This is not an easy cache to get to. 4x4/arc/tub with clearance is needed to get to this site. You can hike into it but I wouldn't recommend it. Either way don't do it alone and bring water and the proper recovery tools should you get stuck in the sand.
once you start getting close to the coordinates be mindful of cut down fence post sticking out of the ground. The clean up crew from the set was lazy and instead of removing the post from the ground the just cut them with a saw leaving sharp stumps of post that can and have flatten people's tires.
Around the site you will find pieces of wood, sometimes painted white/silver or burgundy. That is actual pieces of Jabbas sail barge that exploded. You will also find pieces of white or orange styrofoam, that is actual pieces of the Sarlaac Pit. Feel free to tske some pieces with you as your only helping to clean up the dunes when you do and it makes for a cool souvenir.
